An Interesting Argumentative Essay Topic on Community

An Interesting Argumentative Essay Topic on CommunityThe following is an excerpt from the recent e-book 'Community, Histories and History: Essays' by Edward J. Koch. It discusses one interesting argumentative essay topic on community and discusses some potential alternatives to it. A community with a rich historical past is difficult to explain, but this essay is intended to be provocative and interesting, so it will certainly catch your attention.First of all, we must define a historical period that has a rich history. It has to be a period when the material and social environment were similar to today's. If the society is closely connected to the technological innovations of today, then this would be considered an industrial society. If we want to discuss more than one period, we need to choose a specific one, and look at how its people came to live in a certain time period. What kind of culture was the group in this time period? In other words, what is the nature of their values? M any a time period that has been selected as a community has been found to have a diversity of moral and ethical standards, or rather no such standards at all. One's self is often more important than one's social or economic status.Let us talk about a few of these societies for a few minutes, because many of these have lasted a long time. Let us start with the Chinese. Of course, there is no single book that explains the emergence of this society, but we can try to sum up some of the salient points. The Chinese developed the first classes of standardized learning, language, and math. They invented writing to document their culture. It was common to carry records of something of value (as opposed to gold, which was not widely used). The Chinese developed the Great Wall to protect their civilization from outside invaders. From their Chinese origins, their literature, art, and science spread all over the world. We mentioned Japan, of course. Their class structure for all of its subjects h as developed over time, but it has also been characterized by harmony among the various races and cultural groups. In fact, they developed their own written language, which is quite different from Chinese or English.Europe too has a very long history of cultural diversity. Not all of these cultures have succeeded in developing something similar to what the Japanese have. The Aryans left their mark on the continent. Their culture, in its entirety, is comparable to modern European culture. This argumentative essay topics on community has been prepared to encourage thought. What have we learned about these civilizations? And how does that affect our attitudes towards the community in our own times?
